Hey guys! I thought about skipping this week’s quote, but seeing as I did that last week, I decided that wouldn’t be such a good idea, haha! Then it was just a matter of picking which quote to do, which always seems to take forever. This time, I decided to go with one from a game that I feel like I don’t really talk about all that much. Take a look!

“This is it. This is your story. It all begins here.” – Auron (Final Fantasy X)

The beginning of Final Fantasy X is near and dear to my heart, and I feel like this quote captures that. Though I had dabbled with Final Fantasy IX as a kid, FFX was the first FF I ever beat, so I see it as my first FF. In fact, FF was the game that opened the door to the world of Square Enix for me. It was the time in my life where I was learning what I wanted to do with myself, and I would eventually decide to become a video game developer because of how influenced I was by Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. This scene marked the beginning of Tidus’ story, but, in a way, it was the beginning of my story, too.
