Star Wars: The Last Jedi BREAKING NEWS

Some new news for Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released a few days ago detailing a new city and two new characters.  A series of pictures, which you can view at Star Wars.com, showed us some interesting looks at these things.  One of the pictures shows a crowd of formally dressed aliens and humans.  The city that these lavish people live in is now known as Canto Bight.  This is what Pablo Hidalgo, who works with the Lucasfilm Story Group, has said about the people of this city:

“What we’re going to see in The Last Jedi are some people that have managed to carve out a life for themselves where they can live apart from the galactic struggle.  They found a way to live above it or beyond it.  There’s a class of wealthy that have helped build all sorts of loopholes in society that will always ensure that they’ll survive or even thrive no matter what else is happening out there.”

Next, we got a look at two new characters.  First, there is Laura Dern’s character Admiral Amilyn Holdo.  Pablo Hidalgo says that Admiral Amilyn will be high ranking human officer in The Last Jedi.  The next character is one we’ve all been wondering about.  Who does Benicio Del Toro play?  All we know now is that the character is simply being called “DJ” for the time being.  It is unclear why they have yet to release his true name.  It was once rumored that Benicio would be playing Grand Admiral Thrawn, which would be awesome, or an older Ezra Bridger from Star Wars Rebels.  Other images of Rey, Kylo Ren, Luke, Leia, Finn, and Poe were also released.  It was also revealed that Leia was meant to be the star of Star Wars 9, but since Carrie Fisher’s tragic death in December of 2016, The Last Jedi will be our beloved Princess Leia’s final Star Wars movie.  If we want more answers for these new characters, we will just have to wait for The Last Jedi to release on December 15, 2017.  What do you think about these characters?  Tell me your thoughts in the comments!
