It’s time for the last Romance quote of February 2023! Time is just flying by, isn’t it? Actually…I kind of feel like February has lasted forever, but that’s probably because that this has been something of a difficult month for me. But God is good, and there was lots of good in the month as well! Anyways, for our last Valentine’s Day-themed quote of February, I decided to go with song lyrics. It’s been a while since I’ve done that, hasn’t it? Check it out!

This has been one of my favorite love songs for years. Final Fantasy 9 has a special place in my heart due to having vague memories of seeing my dad play it when I was much, much younger. I remember seeing certain scenes he would show me, too. Plus, it just has the sweetest romance! On Valentine’s Day, Square Enix put out a video ranking their favorite SE video game couples, and guess who was number 1? It was no surprise to me to see Squall and Rinoa take over the list! Not to mention that they talked about the space scene, which is like, one of my favorite video game scenes everrrr! And y’all, this song is just so special to me. I even played it for my last recital before I graduated high school. It was literally one of the best moments of my life. The recital was outside, and when I came to be my turn to play, a bit of a downpour started up. Maybe it wasn’t so fun for the people who weren’t under this awning thing like I was, but for a minute, it was just this song and the rain for me. I’m relearning it, so I hope to put it here on the blog soon for a Music on my Mind!
