Happy Sunday, y’all! Last week we talked about loving one another, and this week we’re going to run with that a little longer! This week’s verse really puts into perspective how important loving one another is. While it can be difficult to show love to those around us at time (or maybe all the time, for some people), keeping this one in mind can encourage us to always be loving. Take a look!

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” – 1 John 4:8

See what I mean? God IS love. We got the most perfect example of love from Him. He loved us so much He sent His Son to die for us. Jesus wasn’t just saving us from our sins; He was setting an example of what true love looks like. For those who might find it hard to love people, what is your relationship with God like? If you don’t know God, or aren’t in a good relationship with Him, it will be hard to show love. Yes, loving people might be hard for everyone depending on the person, but I have found that the more you know God and His grace, the easier it becomes to love others.
