Top Ten Most Popular Posts I Published In 2022

It’s time for another Top Ten, y’all, and this time, I’m going to be counting down my most popular posts of 2022! This means y’all are going to get a little behind-the-scenes look at my posts, so this should be fun! As I was putting together the list, I was actually kind of surprised at some of these. Some of them are kind of old, and somewhat embarrassing… But I’ll put that aside for now. I’ll also be including links so you can go to the actual posts if you wish to do so. Let’s get into it!

10. Square Enix’s Greatest Couple

This one was posted on Valentine’s Day of 2019 (February 14th, 2019), and the subject was my Final Fantasy OTP Zack Fair and Aerith Gainsborough. I was surprising that it was my tenth most viewed post in 2022, because it is a little old, I have to admit. And a little poorly written, haha! I guess people just wanted to see what my opinion was on who Square Enix’s greatest couple is? I don’t know!

9. Taking A Look At The Moms And Mother Figures of Star Wars

Y’all… This came out on MAY 14TH, 2017!!! If I thought the last one was old, this one is really old! Why are people still reading my cringey old posts??? Okay, I guess I shouldn’t complain if they are still up for people to read, but I can’t imagine anyone actually enjoying my cringe writing. I mean, I guess it isn’t that bad! Int his post, I put the spotlight on the mothers of Star Wars, as well at the mother figures, and talked about what made them great. I guess you can take a look at it…

8. Fire Emblem: Three Houses – A Look At Character Development

This is a more recent one, posted on January 29th, 2021. This was what started off one of my newer series where I break down the character development of specific characters, and in this one, I did Prince Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Honestly, looking back at it, it’s really not that great of a post. My writing was a little rushed, and I guess I could have gone deeper into it. Funny enough, not long after that I wrote this rhetorical analysis for school about Edelgard that was similar to this, but much more in-depth (it’s probably the best essay I’ve ever written in my life). I kind of wish I did with this post what I did in that essay, but oh well! I’ll have other chances to go more in-depth with other character development posts!

7. Life Lessons in Fiction: The World Ends With You

This was posted on September 10th, 2020, and I actually remember writing this one. This was the second Life Lessons in Fiction I ever wrote, I think. It was also the easiest one I ever wrote, haha! According to the stats, this appears to be the most popular LLIF I ever wrote, which doesn’t surprise me. This is one of my favorite posts, so I’m happy to see it at number 7!

6. Inspiring Characters: Riku

Okay, someone needs to explain to me why this post is SO DANG POPULAR. I first posted this on May 3rd, 2019, and my blog blew the heck up after it. Since then, it has been the freaking second most viewed post on this blog. I don’t know why the heck that is, but it became somewhat of a joke between me and my sister. I just don’t understand how it’s managed to stay in the top ten for so long! I guess people just really love Riku, and I can’t blame them!

5. Who Is Project X? Another Kingdom Hearts Mystery

This one was posted on April 28th, 2021. I’m not too surprised that this one is on this list, because it’s gotten a lot of traffic ever since I posted it. I had a lot of fun with this one! This is the post that gave me the idea to start my I’ve Got A Theory… series! In this one, I discussed my theories of the identity of Project X in Kingdom Hearts. Pretty neat, if I do say so myself! Actually, now that I think about it, last year I had to put together a portfolio, and I chose three posts to be in it. I’m pretty sure this was one of the three.

4. Quote of the Week 7/19/21; Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Release!

This was posted on July 19th, 2021, the day Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD was released for the Switch. As I tend to do for video game anniversaries, I did ten quotes instead of one to celebrate the game’s tenth birthday. Still, with everything I wrote in 2022, I’m surprised to find this in the top ten most popular posts that year even though this was released in 2021. Go figure, I guess!

3. Top Ten Highlights From Forest of Piano

Speaking of posts I’m surprised to see on this list, and in the top three no less! This post, that I am actually not fond of, was released on August 6th, 2019. I was talking about the major points in my favorite anime, Forest of Piano. It’s poorly written and I could have done a lot more for it, but I guess it wasn’t as bad as I thought? Who would have thought!

2. Inspiring Characters: Zack Fair

This is an older post from May 29th, 2020, which continued my Inspiring Characters series. This time I talked about what made Zack Fair, the protagonist of Final Fantasy 7: Crises Core, and it was pretty popular when it first came out. However, I’m kind of surprised to see it as the second most viewed post in 2022! Maybe it’s just becoming the next Inspiring Characters: Riku?

1. Final Fantasy 7’s Best Quotes (4/19/20)

I am not surprised about this one at all, because it’s super popular for some reason. I released this one on April 20, 2020 to celebrate the release of the the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and I made my Quote of the Week post focus on some of the best quotes of FF7. Since then, it has become my most viewed post on this blog! I must have a lot of FF7 fans on my blog, I guess!

That’s all of them! I’m so thankful to everyone who reads my content, it always puts a smile on my face to see the likes I get from y’all! Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, and as always, God bless y’all and have a wonderful weekend!
