Weekly Dose of Scripture 1/1/23

Happy New Year everyone! This isn’t technically the first blog post of 2023 since my What I Read… post came out so late last night, but we can pretend this is the first one! At any rate, it’s the first Weekly Dose of Scripture of the year! To mark this special occasion, I’ll be putting the spotlight on one of my all time favorite verses, and one I have certainly done before. Take a look!

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons neither the present not the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:37-38

Going into this new year, I want to hold on to this verse. I want to hold on to the fact that nothing can separate me from God, and that nothing can stop Him from loving me. I want you to hold on to this too! Nothing you do can change the fact that Jesus loves you, and He died on the cross to save you from sin. He can give you eternal life, and once you follow Him, nothing, not even the greatest evils, can separate you from Him. He will be with you wherever you go, loving you with a love no human can understand. If any of you aren’t saved, I challenge you to learn more about God this year, and see for yourself that this verse, and all the verses in the Bible, for that matter, are the truth. The world will try to give you its version of the truth, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the truth we find in God’s Word.

I hope this encourages you to follow God this year, and to know that NOTHING can separate you from His love!

I pray that you all have an incredibly blessed year! If there is anything you wish for me to pray for, please let me know in the comments!
