Hey guys! It’s time for another Christmas throwback! I have so many great Christmas memories, but for today, I’m going with one of my favorite Christmases. I honestly don’t remember much from this particular year (or even what year it was, really), but there was just a vibe around it that has stayed with me. It’s weird how stuff like that happens; you can’t remember much else but the feelings you had. Take a look!
That Time We Started A New Tradition (And I Got To Play The Sims)
When I say we started a new tradition, I honestly don’t know if it was this particular year. First off, the tradition is to get hot chocolate from somewhere, or make it ourselves, then go to drive around and look at Christmas lights. I can’t recall doing this before this particular time, so it may have been the first time we ever did it. I remember making the hot chocolate and putting it into my thermos. For the life of me I can’t remember where we went to look at lights (probably just around the neighborhood). But I do remember what game I was playing, haha!
At the time, I had really been wanting to get into The Sims. We had this iPad, so I downloaded The Sims Freeplay on it. Since it was Christmas, there was a lot of Christmas quests to do on it. I remember spending a lot of time on the game trying to complete all the quests. When we went to look at lights, I took the iPad with me to keep doing the quests, haha! There was a time limit on the quests, so I spent a lot of time trying to finish them. Not TOO much time that I wasn’t enjoying the holidays, of course!
Though I don’t remember much about that Christmas (I literally can’t even remember what year it was), I have a lot of nostalgia thinking about going to look at Christmas lights, or sitting by the Chistmas tree trying to finish those quests. It’s so weird how memories work!
What do you think about this throwback? Do you have any Christmas memories you want to share? Let me know in the comments below! And as always, God bless y’all and have a great day!
