Hello all! Yesterday, I did a verse for Weekly Dose of Scripture that kept in line with the holiday season (so we can focus on the reason for the season!), and I will also be doing that with quotes! I’m sure my long-time followers expected this, as I usually do holiday-themed quotes every December. With that being said, I turned to my favorite Christmas movie for this first quote…which is another thing I usually do in December. Take a look!
“Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. And when he isn’t around he leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?” – Clarence (It’s A Wonderful Life)
It’s A Wonderful Life has been my favorite Christmas movie (and it’s up there on my list of favorite movies ever) for a long time now, and the part of the movie where the protagonist, George Bailey, gets to see what life would have been like if he’d never been born is just chilling. Sometimes I get to feeling that I’m really not that important to those around me, but this is not true! It’s not true for you, either! Whether we realize it or not, life would be extremely different for our family, friends, and even some strangers had we not been born. God created us for a reason. He planned for us to make impacts on others, whether they are small impacts or life-changing impacts. Because the lesson in this movie goes so much deeper than your usual Christmas movie, I just have to recommend it to everyone!
What do you think about this quote? Let me know in the comments below! And as always, God bless y’all and have a wonderful week!
