Hey guys! It’s time for another verse! This time, I’m taking one from YouVersion’s Verse of the Day from a few days ago. I think this is one we should always have in our hearts, because not only can it bring us comfort, but it can tell us something about God, too!

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out feal: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18

God is love. And to be more specific, He is perfect love. Whenever we are afraid, that fear does not come from God. This is something that took me a long time to learn as a teenager. My fears came from the devil- not from God. I could get perfect peace from God. He loves me (and everyone else) with a perfect love that casts out fear, and we should do the same. Maybe fears will still come our way, but we can give those fears to God.
