Hey guys! It’s past time for our weekly verse, but here it is! This time I decided to go with another verse of the day from the Bible App, since this one caught my eye. Take a look!

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. – Matthew 5:9

I’ll be honest: sometimes I get a little defensive and argumentative about things. It’s on my long list of things I need to work on, haha! Multiple verses have been popping up and reminding me of things I need to examine in my life, and is one of them. Ironically, I can’t stand conflict, so these two aspects of myself tend to battle each other. Unfortunately, my stubborn side usually beats my more peaceful side, haha! But here we are told that those who are peacemakers will be called the children of God. Don’t you want that? I sure do! So it only makes me want to work harder to be more like Jesus- to be a peacemaker.
