Hey guys! As you know if you read my last post, I am on a vacation. Because of that, I totally forgot yesterday was Sunday, so in turn I forgot to post this week’s Scripture. I am here to fix that! For this week, I wanted to put the focus on the rest that the Lord gives to us. Take a look!

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” – Exodus 33:14

There are tons and tons of verses that talk about rest and restoration, but I chose this one because of the fact that it is more than rest the Lord gives us, and that jumped out at me here. A lot of times rest can be a synonym for peace, and I feel like that is happening in this verse. The Lord’s presence will always go before us, behind us, and beside us, and we will have peace. When we need rest, we can go to Him at any time! That sounds like a good plan to me!
