Hey guys! I hope you all have had a wonderful Sunday! My family has been struggling with finding a home church for the last three months, and today, we visited one that we all really loved. It’s on the small side, but I already love it and I think it’s where we will be going for the foreseeable future! The sermon today, which was on bearing one another’s burdens, is what inspired today’s verse. Take a look!
We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. – Romans 15:1
Bearing with others can be extremely difficult sometimes, right? Sometimes we have a tendency to quickly become agitated with people, or we may find it hard to love others sometimes. We all know that person who frustrates us, sometimes when we’re simply thinking about them! But today’s sermon made me stop and think about what I could be doing that is more in line with what Christ would do. Even though we are sinners, He still loves and cares for us. Shouldn’t we be able to do the same?
I hope this encourages you to bear with others, even those who frustrate you! And as always, God bless y’all and have a wonderful week!
