Weekly Dose of Scripture 3/13/22

Hey guys! Time change has happened, and I am actually handling it better than I thought, despite this being the time change that I really hate. Sometimes I get really confused with the time and everything, but that didn’t really happen this time. It’s still a good thing that this week is Spring Break for me so I can get completely used to the time and I’m not at risk of being late to class, haha! Anyway, for this week’s Scripture, I decided to go with a verse I found recently. Take a look!

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. – Romans 8:25

So lately I’ve been reevaluating some stuff in my life and trying to dedicate more time to being with God. I’m really in a crunch for free time these days, so it’s been difficult to really spend time in God’s Word and in prayer. However, I’ve been doing my best to make this a top priority in my life, and I can see the change it is making! That being said, I have also changed my tactics. I have been focusing on a certain areas of my life, and that is hope, faith, and most of all, patience. I have been praying and waiting for something from God for a very long time, and sometimes I really get tired of waiting. I have to remind myself that I am on God’s timeline, not my own, frequently. So recently I have been spending time in passages that speak on patience and waiting on God’s Will to be revealed, and it has brought peace to me. I hope it can bring peace to you, too!

I hope this not only encourages you to wait patiently on the Lord, but to also give more time to Him. It’s worth it! Now, as always, God bless and have a wonderful week!
