Weekly Dose of Scripture 2/14/2022; Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hey guys! I am so sorry about the sudden radio silence there for a minute, but things have been pretty wild with my life. I started my new job today, so I’m hoping to finally get settled into a real schedule. With that out of the way, it’s time to address that today is, in fact, Valentine’s Day! Though I am single, and have been for every Valentine’s Day that I’ve lived through, I like the holiday and what it symbolizes for me. I love getting to spend time with my family, but most importantly, I love the reminder of God’s love for us. For today, I’ll be shining a light on a very popular verse. Take a look!

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. – John 3:16

Can it get any better than that? God loved us so much that He couldn’t just let sin take us all away. He wanted us to be with Him in Heaven, so to save us from the sin and evil that humanity is prone to live in, He sent Jesus to die on the cross and take our sins away. This is the greatest act of love imaginable! No matter what may be going on in your life, I want you to hold onto this truth. God loves you, and He wants a relationship with you!

Show some love to your family and friends today, and spend time with the Lord to show you love Him as well! Never forget how much He loves you! God bless y’all and have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
