Hey guys! I’m here with yet another tag for Blogmas day 17! “The Gamer Tag” is one I thought would be appropriate, considering that I’m a gamer, and I thought it would be a fun post! Before we begin, this tag was created by ZombieGoddess Beauty. Like any tag, it’ll be some questions for me to answer, but this time it’s video game themed! Enjoy!

What is your gamer tag?

My gamer tag is currently “Artemis Jade”.

PC or Console?

Console for sure. I like PC, but usually for games like Sims or something, haha!

Console of choice?

Xbox One is probably what I play the most one, but I do love the PlayStation 3!

Handheld of choice?

The Nintendo Switch is tied with the Nintendo 3DS XL. I love both!

Keyboard or Gamepad?

Gamepad for sure!

Singleplayer or Multiplayer?

Singleplayer, because the majority of the games I like are all singleplayer. However, I do like to play multiplayer games when I want to play with friends/family.

What was the first game you ever played?

It was either Pong or Breakout, but I’m pretty sure it was Breakout! I like Pong better though!

Hardest game you ever played?

Probably the Kingdom Hearts 3 ReMind DLC? The data battles kicked butt and it took me all year to beat them all. I still never beat the secret boss because he’s a nightmare. I’m hoping to get around to it sometime though!

What was your first gaming system?

I think it was the original Nintendo DS right when it came out. I remember I played Super Mario Brothers 2 on it. Good times!

What is your favorite game of all time?

Kingdom Hearts 2, hands down. There’s no game like it, and I’m confident in saying that there never will be in the future.

What game is currently your favorite?

Again, Kingdom Hearts 2. However, I’ve really been loving the indie game Hades from Supergiant Games!

Favorite video game genre?

RPGs are what I mainly play, and yeah, that’s probably my favorite. I do love a good strategy game like Fire Emblem though!

Favorite video game character?

Now this is a hard question! There’s a ton of characters I really love, but I might have to say Neku from The World Ends With You. He has amazing character development, and I have to say he comes from one of the greatest games ever made. But if I couldn’t choose Neku, I’d pick Sora from Kingdom Hearts or Prince Dimitri from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Which video game character do you hate the most?

Probably Seymour from Final Fantasy X. You should have seen my face at that stupid wedding! If you played the game, you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about :0.

What new game are you most excited for?

There’s a lot that I think look cool, but let’s get real here. The game I’m most excited about is whatever next Kingdom Hearts game they reveal!

Favorite video game company/developer?

Square Enix! It’s my dream to work there someday, but we’ll see if that ever actually happens!

What gaming systems do you currently have?

Xbox One, Wii, PS3/4/5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS XL, etc. Some of them are dirt old but magically still work!

How long have you been gaming?

I came out of the womb gaming pretty much. My dad was really into Square Enix games (though they were Square Soft at the time), and I watched him play games like Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, etc. As I got older, gaming became our way of bonding.

How long was your longest gaming session?

Um… OK! So when the Final Fantasy 7 Remake came out, I may or may not have stayed up all night playing it… I totally did, and I went on for around eight or so hours. My two sisters stayed up that entire time, too. One of the best nights I ever had, I think! I’ve gone eight hours before then, but I don’t think I’ve ever gone past that time.

What game have you clocked the most time?

One of the three main Kingdom Hearts games, but I’m pretty sure it might be the second one. I spend A LOT of time on those, haha!
