Blogmas Day 8: Six Characters I’d Invite To My Christmas Party

Blogmas Day 8 is here, and I have something exciting planned for today! As you can tell by the title, I’ll be talking about characters who I would really love to invite to a Christmas party! With all these crazy characters, a party would be quite chaotic, but hey! Christmas parties at my house is already hectic (a fun hectic, of course!) Anyways, let’s get to the list!

Percy Jackson (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)

Percy is an obvious choice! If you’ve read the books, then you know exactly why Percy is the perfect guy to invite to a Christmas party. Percy is sarcastic and witty, and he always knows just what to do or say. He’s been through a lot of crap in his life, and yet he still has so much goodness in his heart. Whenever I read the books, I just think of how awesome it would be to have Percy as a friend. Christmas parties at my house are already fun, but it would be even more interesting if Percy was there!

Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)

If Percy’s coming, then there’s a far chance that Annabeth will be there, too. Annabeth becomes Percy’s girlfriend in the fifth book, and they are TIGHT. They’ve seen each other at their absolute worst, and have even gone through the depths of Tartarus together. If I’m inviting Percy, then I will, of course, extend the invitation to include her, too! And not only because they are always together, either! Annabeth would be a cool girl to hang out with. She’s highly intelligent and is really into architecture, and I think the conversations we would have would be awesome!

Sora (Kingdom Hearts)

Of course I’d include my favorite Kingdom Hearts character here! I am a Kingdom Hearts megafan, and if I had the chance to invite fictional characters to a Christmas party, then Sora is DEFINITELY coming! Sora is cheerful and optimistic, and it seriously rubs off on those around him. Even though he’s incredibly young and has gone through some bad stuff, he’s still got a big heart and cares about helping others. I think he would be a fun guest to have over for Christmas!

Aerith Gainsborough (Final Fantasy 7)

Aerith has been one of my favorite characters for years, and she’s someone I really admire from the Final Fantasy universe! Aerith, like Sora, is optimistic and tries to be cheerful despite everything that’s happened to her. She’s fun-loving and always ready to try something new, and I think she’d be perfect to invite to the party!

Kelsier (Mistborn)

After reading Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn trilogy, Kelsier quickly became one of my all-time favorite fictional characters. He’s charming, optimistic (I see we have a theme here with optimistic characters!), and always ready to do what’s right. He’s a caring father-figure who breaks the mold of the “Mentor” archetype, and I think he would be an awesome guy to hang out with!

Prince Dimitri (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)

Prince Dimitri is my favorite character from Fire Emblem: Three Houses for multiple reasons, one of these being the depth of his character development (which you can read about in my character development breakdown, Fire Emblem: Three Houses – A Look At Character Development!) I’d have to say that I would probably invite the post-game version of Dimitri, because by that point, he has started to heal both mentally and physically from the events of the game. Post-game Dimitri is wise, gentle, and, though he is probably not someone who likes to attend lots of parties, I would invite him anyway!

So that’s that! There are TONS of characters who could have been on this list, and it was difficult to narrow it down to just six! I could have put more, but for time’s sake, I kept it as brief as I could. Anyway, I’d love to see who you would invite to a Christmas party! Let me know in the comments below! And as always, God bless y’all and have a wonderful week!
