Like yesterday’s Weekly Dose of Scripture, I’ll also be keeping up with my Quote of the Week posts during Blogmas! Of course, they will be Christmas themed, and what better way to start than with a quote from my favorite Christmas movie? Take a look!
“Strange, isn’t it? Each man’s life touches so many other lives. And when he isn’t around the leaves an awful hole, doesn’t he?” – Clarence (It’s a Wonderful Life)
I thought about multiple quotes from the movie, but I eventually settled on this one. The portion of the movie in which George Bailey finds out what life would have been like if he had never been born is chilling and eye-opening. It’s a Wonderful Life shows you George’s entire life, and then the end shows you what it would have been like with out him in the picture. This is why I love this movie so much. It makes you think about your own life, and how precious and fragile it is. It is story-telling at it’s finest. If you have not seen this movie, please do yourself a favor and watch it this holiday season, and I promise you won’t regret it!
God bless y’all, and have a wonderful week!
Love that movie. It really is amazing to think about just how many lives we touch just by being alive!
