Blogmas day four is here! Christmas shopping has been a little rough this year, what with the economy in shambles and everything. It can be hard to find the perfect gifts for your friends and family! When you think of stocking stuffers, maybe you draw a blank on ideas. Well, I’ve got you covered! Take a look at some of these awesome stocking stuffers!
Gift Cards
Gift cards are never a bad idea! If you’ve got someone who loves shopping, a gift card is the way to go! Amazon gift cards are a great way to allow them to shop for anything, while a gift card to a restaurant will provide them with a night out! If you’ve got a bookworm, try a Barnes and Noble gift card (my favorite kind of gift card to get, haha!). There’s a gift card for pretty much anything, even ones for the Nintendo Switch Store or Fortnite, so there is many different options!
Candy/Snacks
Where can you go wrong with food? When it comes to candy, it can be easy to find something to add to a stocking! Theater box candy, like Skittles, M&Ms, Nerds, Junior Mints, is quite popular in my family, so that’s always an option! Of course, there are always candy canes and chocolate involved, too! On the other hand, some snacks you could add to a stocking could be things like popcorn, jerky (another popular stocking stuffer in my family!), peanuts (or any kind of nuts, really!), and cookies! It’s always exciting to get these things out of a stocking!
Makeup
This will be a good idea for the women in your family! The only thing about makeup is that it can get quite expensive depending on where you shop for it, but there are really good options that are on the cheaper side! I get most of my makeup at Target, and some of it is cheaper there, but still excellent quality! For the makeup lover in your family, you could put a small eye shadow palette, lipstick, mascara, etc. into a stocking!
Jewelry
Jewelry is another nice thing to serve as a stocking stuffer! Bracelets, necklaces, and earrings can all easily fit into a stocking, and it’ll be sure to put a smile on the receiver’s face! You can find jewelry just about anywhere, like Amazon or Etsy. Here soon, I’ll be doing a post for getting gifts for the geeks in your family, and I’ll talk a little more about jewelry as a Christmas gift!
Small Toys
This could be absolutely anything! If you’re not a big fan of giving your kids knickknacks, there’s plenty of other options. This can include anything from Rubik’s Cubes, Hot Wheels, small dolls or action figures, and Squishies! There is also those Kinder Joy thingies that not only has a small toy inside, but also chocolate. And if you’ve got a baby, there are plenty of stocking stuffer sized toys that would be perfect!
Other
There are some items that are small enough to warrant as stocking stuffers, and these can be anything from a back scratcher to slippers. Anything goes, here! You can include art supplies (such as a box of crayons or a small painting set), socks, earbuds, sunglasses, or things that might be necessities (for the adults, you know?) like gloves, winter hats, or a new comb or hair brush (something I received in a stocking last year!). There’s always something that someone might need!
With Christmas coming, the deadline for getting everyone’s gifts is drawing near! I hope this gave you some ideas as to what to put in peoples’ stockings this year! Let me know in the comments below if you’ve got any other ideas that you’d like to share with everyone!
As always, God bless y’all and have a wonderful weekend!
