Hey guys! Today will be the last Thanksgiving Day themed verse! Moving into December we will, of course, be seeing some verses from the story of the birth of Christ for the Christmas season, so be on the lookout for that! Anyway, let’s turn our focus over to more Scripture on giving thanks to the Lord!

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24

This is one of my favorite verses! Every day that the Lord gives us is a blessing! Sometimes we have bad days, and we can only seem to focus on the disappointments that are going on in our lives. In fact, I’ve had a few days recently where I found it hard to focus on the parts of my days which were good because I was so focused on what was bad about them! This is not a way to go through life! Yes, we will have bad days sometimes. However, we can’t just focus on what’s bad in them. We have to pick out the blessings and continuously give thanks to the Lord for the days He has given us!
