Hey guys! My travels for this week are coming to an end, as we will be heading back home to Texas tomorrow! It was a fun, relaxing trip, and I really enjoyed it! It was nice, since I worked all summer and I’ll be getting back to school in about two weeks!

But for now, let’s take a look at what my today looked like! We ended up going to Breckenridge, Colorado to spend some time, and it was pretty fun even though bad weather cut the trip short. We went up into the mountains on a gondola and rode the coaster they gad up there, and it was a lot faster than the one we rode on in Vail! After that, we took the ski lift to go up even higher. I was a little nervous about that, but it turned out to be pretty fun. I got some good pictures too!

So we get up there, and the instant we get off we have to go back down because there was lightning in the area. If the lightning got close enough, they’d shut down the lifts and gondolas and we’d be stuck up there! I believe there must have been hiking trails and stuff up there, but I didn’t see any of them, since we got right back on the lift, haha!

Once we took the gondola back down to the little town, we walked around the shops for awhile. There was a little Christmas shop that had the cutest things! It was a such a cute place, and I would have liked to stay there longer, but it was starting to rain and we were all hungry by this point!

Like Vail, this place had so many flowers around the area, including wild ones! I thought these daisies were so cute!

Later one, we hung out at the lake near the house we rented, and the sky was so pretty! I couldn’t help myself and just had to take more pictures!

It was so nice out, and I wish Texas could feel like this in the summer! Once I get home, it’ll be back too the kind of heat that can cook an egg on the sidewalk, haha!
