Hey guys! Today is a special day for fans of the original The World Ends With You, and that’s because the long awaited sequel has finally released! NEO: The World Ends With You follows brand new characters and familiar faces alike through yet another set of rounds through the Reaper’s Game, in which players must win in order to get a second chance at living. In celebration of this game’s release, this week’s quote will be, of course, a quote from the series. And not just a quote…but – you guessed it! Seven of them, for each day of the Reaper’s Game! Take a look!

“If you think you can do everything yourself, you’re in for some hard lessons.” – Mr. H to Neku

“Any tree can drop an apple. I’ll drop the freaking moon!” – Sho Minamimoto

And last, but certainly not least…

I probably have put the spotlight on some of these in older quote related posts, but oh well… Honestly, I think this game has same of my favorite dialogue I’ve ever seen in a game, and it’s not necessarily because it gets deep sometimes. Sometimes it’s just plain weird and funny. The banter between the characters is perfection, and don’t even get me started on Neku and Josh’s sarcasm! I love this game so much, and it’s such a relatable, heart-wrenching story that makes you want to live life to the fullest. I love the messages sent by it. Anyway, NEO: The World Ends With You has large shoes to fill in regards to a compelling story, with even more compelling characters. I hope I end up loving it just as much as the first game!
