Hey guys! This post will be a little bittersweet for me, since instead of just doing a quote today, I will also be saying goodbye to a game I love very much; Kingdom Hearts Union X. This game has been around for a long time, and I haven’t been there since day 1, but I’ve been playing long enough to miss it!

Before we get into all that, let’s take a look at this week’s quote, which is actually taken from the finale of the game…

“Building something up takes so much effort, but it takes just a second to destroy it…” – Skuld (Kingdom Hearts: Union X)

Oh my word, was this cutscene really something! I had waited up until nearly 4 a.m. on Sunday night/Monday morning to see the global release of this cutscene, only to find out that things didn’t work out and I’d have to wait for the 40+ minute cutscene to be translated. Thanks to the efforts of the YouTuber Everglow (go check him out!) and others, got to see it and it was a really bittersweet finale. We got some things revealed, some questions answered, but we got, as usual, a hefty amount of questions asked.

But things are falling into place, and it was so strange to see! I will probably be doing a breakdown/theory video on the finale sometime soon, but I’m not sure when it will come since E3 is coming up and I will be trying to cover some of the stuff going on there, so we’ll see what happens!

As for now, I’m just going to say that the future of Kingdom Hearts is something I am VERY much looking forward to now that Union X has ended. It’s sad to see it go, and I have a lot of memories that I cherish from it! I am not exactly sure if the game is officially offline now or not, and if not, I’m confused as to when it will be over. I totally thought it wasn’t supposed to end until late June, but I was surprised when they announced it would be Memorial Day. I’m hoping it will be online for a bit longer so I can play this game just awhile longer!
