Hey guys! I’ve been forgetting to post this FINALLY, but now that I have a free moment, I believe it’s time to give y’all an update on how my writing has been going!

In my last update I shared how my goal to finish my book, #DarkTides, was April 17th. Well, stuff happened and I ended up not making the deadline. But I will say that I became a writing machine in April, and it was probably my best writing month in my entire life! The reason why I didn’t make the deadline was because a few chapters ended up being longer than I anticipated, and then I ended up having to add an extra chapter, totaling to 30 chapters. But I am happy to say that the first draft of #DarkTides is finally finished!!!!

I am SO glad it’s over with, even though I’m also a bit sad! But I won’t be putting it away now. I’m going straight into the second draft, and my lovely second draft beta-readers have already given me some wonderful input on my prologue!

In other news, I’m also getting back to my first love, aka my first book that’s taken me since May 14th, 2018 to write. I’ve been planning it out this week, much like I did with #DarkTides, but I probably won’t write in it with the ferocity I did with #DarkTides, just because this isn’t my first draft with it, and I really want the next few drafts to have a lot of care put into them!

So that’s about the size of things! I’m hoping the second draft of #DarkTides will be as easy as the first, but yeah, that’s probably not going to happen, haha! Wish me luck!
