Hey guys! I thought I might change things up with two of my weekly posts, especially with today being Easter Sunday! I’m thinking from now on I’ll be posting Weekly Dose of Scriptures on Sundays and Quote of the Week on Mondays. It just makes better since, to me at least! But anyway, let’s get to the verse, because this week’s is VERY important!

“He is not here; for He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.” – Matthew 28:6

I mean, come on somebody! This is probably my favorite verse in the whole Bible! Easter should be about taking time to remember what Jesus did for us all on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, we don’t have to be bound by sin any longer. And someday, we’ll be going to live an eternity in Heaven! That’s something I can’t even wrap my head around! Easter eggs and bunnies and candy are all nice, but Jesus rising from the dead is the greatest thing of all!

I hope this encourages you today to remember and thank God for the sacrifice He made on the cross! Happy Easter everyone, and God bless you all!
