Here it is, my friends! The last Valentine’s Day edition Quote of the Week! I went back and forth with what quote I could use. I wanted to use a really good one to close out the month, and I was down to one from Final Fantasy 10 and Final Fantasy 9. So what did I choose? Well, neither, of course. If you know me, you know I’ll be deciding between two things and then decide on something completely different. But this is a good thing! This was actually a rather last second decision, because as I was writing this introduction I remembered one of my most favorite romance lines everrrr. Take a look!

“You are the wind at my back, and the sword at my side. Together, my love, we shall build a peaceful world, just you and me.” – Prince Chrom (Fire Emblem: Awakening)

Awakening was my introduction to the Fire Emblem world, and hoo boy, did I have a good time! With a powerful story and unforgettable characters, it easily worked its way into my heart – and so did Prince Chrom! This is the line he speaks after proposing to the avatar (or rather, your character), Female Robin. I just have to laugh at that scene because poor Chrom was nervous out of his mind, and the dialogue is hilarious since Robin is so level-headed and Chrom is just a nervous wreck! I highly recommend checking out the scene! Actually…in that case I highly recommend playing the game!
