Quote of the Week 8/23/20

Hello everyone! I’m replaying the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and I just had to do another Final Fantasy 7 quote! This one isn’t from the remake, but it is from one of the many instalments to the FF7 story!

“Stay where you belong: in my memory!”

“I will…never be a memory.

– Cloud and Sephiroth (Advent Children)

I watched Advent Children for the first time a few months back, and I was not disappointed! Not only did it shed some light on some story details, but the dialogue was golden! The final fight between Cloud and Sephiroth at the end is one of my favorite moments, and Sephiroth’s last words are certainly haunting!

Sephiroth can’t die, since his will is too strong to merge with the Lifestream, and his answer might actually bring up an interesting theory now that the Remake is out, and that is the time travel theory. Because of spoiler reasons, I won’t discuss that here, but if you would like to see a discussion of it, I believe you can find it on my review of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and if you would like an entie post on it, then let me know!

What do you think about this quote? Got any other Sephiroth lines that you love? Let me know in the comments below! God bless, and have a good week!

My favorite Sephiroth quote, and the scene that he says it in is awesome as well. Another one of my favorites of his is “What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion”.

That’s a great one! Also, this gold:
Sephiroth: “Tell me what you cherish most. Give me the pleasure of taking it away.”
Cloud: “I pity you. You just don’t get it at all! There’s not a thing I don’t cherish!”

I could go on and on, haha!
