Quote of the Week 5/25/20

Hey ya’ll, it’s been awhile!  For the last two weeks I’ve had to take a break from blogging to focus on finishing up high school, and now that I’m back, I can say that I am all done with grade school!  And then for the last few days, I took a break from pretty much everything, and it’s been nice to sit around and read and play video games and do whatever else I want to do for a change, because I have been BUSY.  I’m back now and I have a lot of posts that will be coming out.  But this isn’t the point of this post, is it?  Let’s turn our attention to this week’s quote!…

“Yes, good for you. You have three hundred and sixty-five days of immunity. And I’ll be seeing you on day three hundred and sixty-six.”                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            – Scythe Faraday (Scythe)

I’ve never done a quote from The Arc of A Scythe, have I?  What a crime!  This series is full of some of the most interesting, thought provoking quotes I’ve ever read and they seriously need to be shared.  This will be the first quote from this series I share because it’s one of my favorite quotes from the series.  I read it and instantly thought OOHHH! When a character cheated to get immunity, this was Scythe Faraday’s burn on him, and I knew right then that Faraday would be my favorite character!  If you have not read this series, I highly recommend it, though it certainly isn’t for everyone, as it can be quite dark and gruesome.
