It sure has been awhile, friends! I’ve been enjoying my break, and I’m ready to come back! I’ve got SO many quotes to discuss, theories to share, short stories to write and a lot more to come! 2020 will be the year of the gamer, which I am VERY excited about. Real quick I want to point out some Square Enix games coming out very, very soon…
Kingdom Hearts: ReMind DLC
Coming up really soon we have the Kingdom Hearts ReMind DLC. I’m SO excited for this, and I can’t wait to pre-order it! From the looks of the trailer, I can tell that this will bring more confusion into the series, or maybe it’ll hopefully clear things up? As a KH fan, I know that’s probably not going to happen! I’m super excited to finally be able to play as Kairi, and that’s something that a lot of people have been waiting for! And not only Kairi, but the other playable characters as well like Riku and Roxas. If you haven’t seen the trailer, or you just want to watch it again, here you go!
It’s pretty fantastic, isn’t it? And the synopsis alone is enough to bring the hype!
Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.
This DLC will take place after the events of Kingdom Hearts III. Another thing to point out is that there will be another free DLC released alongside ReMind that will contain two new Keyblades; the Oathkeeper (the keyblade that symbolizes Sora’s memories of Kairi) and the Oblivion (the keyblade that symbolizes Sora’s memories of Riku). This free DLC will also include a new form for Sora called Dark Form.
You can purchase the ReMind DLC for $29.99, or you can pay $39.99 to get the concert video that has 19 tracks specifically made for ReMind.
Release Date: January 23 (PS4), and February 25 (Xbox)
Final Fantasy 7 Remake
I cannot even tell you how excited I am for this! We’ve waited five long years and here we are with just two months left! There has been a whole lot of leaks lately, like screenshots, spoilers, and even the whole opening scene. I have done my best to stay away from all of these things so I can see them for the first time when I play the game, and I hope you’ve been able to do the same! So many trailers were released for the FF7 Remake, but why don’t you take a look at the latest?…
This one has been one of my favorites so far! The animation is perfect, the music is even better than I imagined it to be, and the story looks full of new stuff! There has been a few people who have said that they didn’t like the voices. In my opnion, I think they’re really good and they picked the perfect voice actors for them!
You can pre-order this game as just the game that comes with a DLC Materia Summon, or you could get the Deluxe Edition that comes with the game, a steel case, a mini soundtrack CD, two DLC Materia Summon, and an art book. If you have a lot of extra money, unlike me, you could buy it at Square Enix’s store, for all of that stuff along with another DLC Materia Summon and a pretty sweet looking Cloud action figure that comes with his motorcycle, Fenrir. I would love to own that, but I’m settling for the Deluxe Edition!
Release Date: March 3 (PS4)
The wait is almost over for those! There are tons more games coming out and I’m sorry to say that I haven’t been able to follow all of them so all I know is that there’ll be a lot of Nintendo Switch games…
Anyway, I’m also graduating High School this year, so I’m really excited about that! So if I miss certain posting dates, it’s probably because I’m trying to finish up school. There are a lot of posts you can look forward to! I’m planning on releasing the review for Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker this week (which I thought the movie was amazing!). I’ve also been meaning to do a review on Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but things got in the way and I’m currently replaying the game so I can talk about more than the Golden Dear route. I may wait to review it until I play the Black Eagles route as well.
More reviews will be book reviews, because over Christmas break I read a lot. I won’t spoil which reviews will be released, but they should be released in either the end of January or in February.
I want to get some TV show reviews done, but that will mean that I’ll have to stop stalling and finish up some shows I’ve been watching. I still haven’t finished Voltron, but that’ll probably change this year. I started watching The Dragon Prince and it’s enjoyable despite what people have said about the first season. One of my favorite TV shows has become Disney XD’s Spider-Man, so maybe I’ll talk about that sometime as well. As you can tell, I am definitely not the average teenage girl. While some people my age are watching things like Friends and stuff like that, I’m still watching cartoons. Sorry, but I just find those more enjoyable! But I do watch The Mandalorian, and I will be giving the first season a review and that should be posted next week alongside my other Star Wars review. And I almost forgot about the new season of The Clone Wars! I am looking forward to that, and I will definitely be reviewing it!
I have another Inspiring Characters post coming up about someone very special to me, and I’m long overdue for a Writing Tips. Both will be released by the end of this month. Next month I’m excited to continue my Life Lessons in Fiction! I really enjoyed starting that and I’ve got some good ones coming up! Also you can expect my Quote of the Week series to start back tomorrow with some more awesome quotes!
And that means it’s time to acknowledge the elephant in the room. Where the heck has my The Card Dealer parts been??? I am so, SO sorry! Over the past year, I have been really terrible with saying I’m going to post things on certain days, and then I end up not going through with it. I’m not a liar, I’m just super busy and random things kept popping up. This year I really, really want to focus on getting things done when I say they’ll be done! With that said, I promise you that you will be able to read The Card Dealer: Part 8 on January 18th! And we are getting sooo close to some plot twists being discovered, so I’m super excited for that! And in regards to that, there’s something that needs to be voted on…
The Card Dealer will be ending soon. I’m still not exactly sure how many more parts are left, but I know it will probably end before Summer comes. This means that I will need a new idea for a new story. If The Card Dealer ends before Summer gets here, I’d rather have everything squared away for the next story so I can have the Summer completely off and be ready to start in August. So I have a few blossoming ideas, and I’d like to know what you would like to read next!…
I do have a couple ideas for some spin-offs I could do. So far I have a spin-off for Zion, the merman that has appeared a couple times in The Card Dealer. His story would be fun to write and I have a mostly solid plot down for his, which is a lot more than I can say for the other side characters. Another spin-off I could do is one about Leon, Lex, or Adrian. I don’t really have many ideas for them, but I know I could find some. If you would like to see more of them or any other minor or major characters, let me know!
If I did a sequel, Claudia would once again be the main character and you would continue to see the story through her eyes. I’m perfectly okay with that if that’s what you want, and I even have a few ideas, even though they might have a few holes in them.
3. Something Completely Different
This one would definitely take me the most work. Would you like to see something different than the fantasy world of The Card Dealer? If you would like that, I actually do have two ideas that I’ve been really happy about and one of them I’ve even started writing. One of them would be Sci-Fi, and the other would be like a fairy tale.
So put your votes in the comments and I will read over them and see what if the most popular! I’m excited for this new year, and I will try my hardest to keep posting so that ya’ll aren’t bored with me! Thank you so much to all of my followers, you’re awesome and it means a whole lot to me that you’ve stayed with me other the past three years. Writing isn’t easy, whether it’s creative or other, and support is always appreciated. Now, have an awesome weekend and God bless!
