Everything We Know About Star Wars Rebels Season 4

Star Wars Rebels Season 4 is on it’s way!  Sadly, it’s not coming fast enough!  But while we wait, there are a few hints about what’s in store for the next season.  Why don’t we review these hints?  Here is a list of everything we know about Star Wars Rebels Season 4.

Season 4 Will Be The Finale Season

You’ve probably already heard the terrible news…Star Wars Rebels will be ending with season 4.  I really wish that they would go as far as the Clone Wars TV series went (6 seasons), but I guess I’ll take what I can get.  Maybe, just maybe, after Rebels is over, a new cartoon will come out?

Season 4 Will Only Have 15 Episodes

Not only will season 4 be the end, but it will be the shortest season.  Oh well.  At least it has more than the final season of the Clone Wars, which had only 13 episodes!  Like I said, I’ll take what I can get.

We Will Get To See What Happened Between Saw Gerrera And Mon Mothma

When Rogue One released, we saw that Saw Gerrera wanted no part with Mon Mothma’s Rebellion.  He went and formed his own band of rebels.  But did you ever wonder why? Well, according to the Star Wars Rebels director, Dave Filoni, season 4 will be the one to tell the tale.  His exact words were…

“You will see Mon Mothma again, you’ll see Saw Gerrera again.  You’ll get much more of an insight into seeing how that relationship breaks down and breaks apart.”

Can’t wait to see how that one goes!

X-Wings!

Finally!  After 3 seasons of waiting we’re going to get the most iconic ship in Star Wars!  X-Wings!  But that’s not the only reason I’m totally freaking out, look who gets to fly one..

If you look closely, that would be Chopper and Hera flying that front X-Wing.  Ah!  Can’t wait!

Two Old Favorites Are Returning

If you watched the Clone Wars, then you know Bo-Katan.  Bo-Katan is the sister of the late Duchess of Mandalore, and the old leader of Death Watch.  And she’s coming back! Another character is also returning, and, like Grand Admiral Thrawn, is coming straight from the Expanded Universe.  That would be Rukh.  You might recognize him as Thrawn’s bodyguard from the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn.  He will be voiced by Warwick Davis.  Katee Sackhoff will be reprising her role as Bo-Katan.

There’s the list!  We will have to wait until the fall, most likely September or October, to see how all these things play out.  I can’t wait until then!  Do you know anything about this season and was not on this list?  Let me know in the comments!
